Webmaster, and Forgetter-of-Knowledge

(he/him/his)

My Story

Dan took the scenic route to behavior analysis with excursions in Japan, Sri Lanka, and the college classroom. A former professor of Asian religions at Whitman College, he holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia and a Master of Education from Pacific Lutheran University. He began working as a BCBA student in January 2026, bringing extensive experience in teaching, research, and listening across cultural differences to this new chapter. As the parent of a wonderful and brilliant autistic daughter, Dan also brings a deeply personal appreciation for the individuality, strengths, and perspectives of autistic people. His unconventional background is united by a lasting curiosity about how people learn, find meaning, and thrive.
